Volunteering

Set Them Free International welcomes Christian Leaders, Ministers and Volunteers interested in carrying out missions to Developing Countries. Volunteers can participate in most of the programs anytime all year round. People with ages from 16 to 74 years, any religion, race or nationality are accepted to participate in the program.

People without special skills, professional qualifications, academic knowledge or previous experience can also volunteer in some of our programs in Uganda. Our programs are not designed only for Pastors, Church Leaders or University students on vacations, but anybody from any profession or non professional background are accepted to volunteer with us so far as they have the enthusiasm, charisma, initiative, drive and the compassion to assist the underprivileged overcome their challenges and their struggles for dignity.

Volunteers may also identify programme activities that they would like to become involved in as their knowledge and insight into the organisation grows however, changes in a person’s role description will be agreed by both the volunteer and the volunteer support person.

Our work promotes international co-operation, friendship, cross-cultural exposure, cultural immersion, peace, understanding, solidarity and breaks new grounds for sustainable social-economic development through voluntary work and volunteering-internships programs in Uganda. We therefore welcome you to participate in our programs and we will be honoured by your participation. Please pass on our information to your friends and other prospective and potential volunteers. Thanks!
